Although music has always been a part of my life, playing bass guitar is entirely new to me. I grew up playing mostly classical cello, with a little training on the violin. Ever since I was young, I wanted to play guitar, though. It wasn't until 2005 that I made some major life changes and got back to doing the things that I always had the desire to do. I tried out every musical instrument I could get my hands on, and I really enjoyed acoustic guitar for a few years.

In 2010, I found myself standing directly in front of an Ampeg stack with 2500 watts of power and a bass guitar in my hands. From the moment I hit my first note and felt the powerful vibration move straight through my heart, like that of a thunderous roll on a stormy night, I knew exactly where I wanted to be: hanging back in the groove, making the floor rumble with the electric bass guitar's deep, low tones.

I've been involved in several bands, including the 5-time RAMI Award-winning Acoustic Millennium Band and local classic/hard rock band Shuvlhed. I enjoy most styles of music but really love classic rock, hard rock, blues, folk rock, funk, R&B and soul, with a special love for the down and dirty, gritty southern rock.

I love performing and making people feel great, so don't be shy... get up there and shake your booty! And, don't forget to come over and say hi after the show!
